ALot of it is trial and error too.
You’ll need to do alot of testing with wick sizes, frangrances, pouring temps etc

Paraffin wax is a derivative of kerosene so it is not surprising then that paraffin wax candles release soot into the air when burned and this soot can settle on your walls and surfaces and even be breathed in by you and everyone around you.

Heating the jars before pouring the wax is something that is important but very few people do it! Thanks for mentioning it. It also prevents air bubbles from being trapped in the wax and makes for a better looking soy candle.
